About the role
Admin Officer (AO)
Location: Worcester WR1 1EQ Pay rate: £12.86ph Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Our Client is hiring for an admin officer client needs confident, organised administrators to support the day-to-day work of the Courts and Tribunals in Worcester.
What you'll be doing:
* Prepare papers, files, and court/tribunal documents for hearings, meetings and related activity
* Create and update records on an in-house computer system, ensuring accurate data input
* Support post opening and dispatch, plus general photocopying and filing
* Book and prepare meeting rooms, agendas, handouts and joining instructions
* Support listing and rota management by checking files and assisting with schedules
* Provide helpful customer service at the counter (face to face), via telephone and in writing
* Clerking civil and family courts/tribunals as required, ensuring materials are up to date
* Process standard casework documentation and court orders according to guidelines
* Check and verify documents, records, accounts, claims and returns against criteria and procedures
* Collect, assemble and interpret information to support daily Team Information Board (TIB) meetings
* Produce basic statistical analysis and process financial information when required
* Contribute to continuous improvement using lean-style problem-solving approaches
What you'll bring:
* Strong administrative ability with a customer-first mindset
* Confidence handling enquiries and supporting court/tribunal users with patience and professionalism
* Accuracy, attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards
* Good IT skills to create/update records and complete data input
* The ability to follow systems and processes (SOPS) while using discretion within guidelines
* A flexible approach-this role may involve ad hoc support at other local offices
Additional information:
* There may be opportunities to exercise initiative and contribute to small projects, with complex matters escalated to a team leader or supervisor when needed.
* Some roles involve regular contact with the Judiciary and the legal profession, as part of delivering the right service.
