About the role
Power Platform Developer
Morson Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Power Platform & Fabric Solutions Developer to join a leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation based in Larne, Northern Ireland.
This is an initial 12-month contract, with a rate of £34.58 to £46.94 per hour.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering and supporting enterprise-level solutions across Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. You will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to create robust, scalable and secure solutions that support key business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain Power BI semantic models, DAX measures, reports and governed workspaces.
Develop and manage Microsoft Fabric components, including Lakehouses, Warehouses, Dataflows Gen2, notebooks and pipelines.
Design and configure Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules and security roles.
Develop Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps to support enterprise business requirements.
Build and maintain Power Automate cloud flows, including integrations, error handling and custom connectors.
Develop Power Automate Desktop/RPA solutions where required.
Design and deploy Copilot Studio agents, covering topics, generative answers, actions, knowledge sources and agentic workflows.
Support Power Platform ALM, including solution management, environment strategy, governance and deployment pipelines.
Apply appropriate DLP policies, governance standards and Entra ID security controls.
Work collaboratively with technical specialists, analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the Power Platform environment.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should have:
A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience delivering enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI.
Strong/expert-level knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, including semantic modelling, DAX and Fabric data management.
Extensive practical experience with Dataverse, Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps.
Advanced Power Automate experience, including integrations, error handling and custom connector development.
Recent hands-on experience developing solutions using Copilot Studio, including agents, generative answers, actions and agentic workflows.
A solid understanding of Power Platform solution ALM, environment strategy, governance and DLP.
Experience working with Microsoft Entra ID for security and access management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Desirable Experience
The following would be advantageous:
SQL and/or Snowflake
Azure DevOps or GitHub
PAC CLI
PowerShell
CI/CD practices
RPA solutions
Microsoft certifications such as PL-400, PL-600, DP-600 or DP-700 would also be beneficial.

Travel: Occasional UK/EU travel may be required
