  • About The Role -

    We are recruiting for a HDRC Project Support Officer to join our Tower Hamlets Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) team.

    If you are passionate about strengthening the borough's capacity to generate and use research on the wider determinants of health and improving outcomes for local communities, committed to achieving positive outcomes, and bring experience in a project or programme support role, ideally within local government, health, research or the voluntary and community sector, we would love to hear from you.

    In this role, you will:

    • Support the planning, delivery and monitoring of HDRC programmes and projects, ensuring activities are delivered to time, scope and quality.
    • Coordinate HDRC governance arrangements, including meetings, reporting cycles, agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking.
    • Produce high-quality reports, dashboards and performance information to support programme monitoring, evaluation and reporting to stakeholders and funders.
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with academic partners, council services, community organisations and voluntary sector partners to support collaborative research and programme delivery.

    About You


    We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

    • Minimum GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
    • Experience in a project or programme support role, including coordinating meetings, events, workshops and competing priorities.
    • Knowledge of programme and project management principles, partnership working, and the wider determinants of health.
    • Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
