Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Workers (Adhoc) to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations on an as-needed basis, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods. The ideal candidate will play a vital part in maintaining smooth warehouse workflows, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain processes. PLEASE NOTE – This role is a 0hr contract – no guaranteed hrs.

Duties

Load and unload shipments efficiently using appropriate materials handling techniques and equipment
Operate forklifts safely to move pallets and heavy items within the warehouse
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing goods against documentation
Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system
Support warehouse organization by stacking, sorting, and storing products systematically
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and materials to ensure safety standards are met
Collaborate with team members to execute daily tasks promptly and effectively
Follow safety protocols diligently during all warehouse activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Skills

Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of materials handling
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic equipment maintenance
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
Construction or heavy industry experience is advantageous for understanding load requirements
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving tasks
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
