Overview

We have been instructed by a specialist professional services firm to appoint a Senior Associate to join its Corporate & Compliance team. This is a broad, client-facing role managing international corporate and private clients across corporate, company secretarial, compliance and fiduciary matters. Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of international corporate structures, including incorporations, restructurings, ongoing administration and liquidations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Managing all company secretarial and governance matters, including Board and shareholder resolutions, minutes, statutory obligations and legal documentation relating to corporate transactions.
  • Leading KYC, AML and due diligence processes, including client risk assessments, World-Check and sanctions screening, and managing escalations where required.
  • Acting as a trusted adviser and primary point of contact for clients, coordinating with notaries, solicitors, regulatory authorities, banks, agents and other professional advisers.
  • Managing banking relationships, including account openings and maintenance, compliance documentation, payment instructions and CRS/FATCA requirements.
  • Managing trust and fiduciary matters, including trustee resolutions, deeds and associated CRS/FATCA and regulatory obligations.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing work and providing technical guidance.

 

What we’re looking for

Skills & Experience

  • Degree, preferably in law; a Master’s degree would be advantageous.
  • 5+ years’ experience in company secretarial, corporate governance, compliance or fiduciary services.
  • Strong IT literacy and excellent Excel skills.
  • A second language would be advantageous.

  • Proactive and adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills.
