Ford, Arundel BN18 0BX, UK Trigon Recruitment Ltd Ex-Offender Mentor Location: Southampton and surrounding areas Salary: Competitive + Benefits Contract: Full Time, Permanent Make a Real Difference Our client is looking for a passionate and dedicated Ex-Offender Mentor to support individuals within the criminal justice system to overcome barriers, achieve positive outcomes and successfully reintegrate into their communities. This rewarding role involves managing a caseload of participants, providing tailored support, facilitating interventions, and helping individuals access education, training and employment opportunities that support long-term rehabilitation and independence. The Role As a Justice Case Worker, you will: Manage a caseload of individuals with complex and multiple support needs. Deliver person-centred support plans that help participants achieve positive outcomes. Conduct inductions, assessments and ongoing reviews. Facilitate group sessions, workshops and interventions across community locations. Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers, training providers and support agencies. Support participants to access education, training, employment, housing, wellbeing and other specialist services. Maintain accurate records, case notes and achievement tracking systems. Work collaboratively with internal teams, partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure coordinated support. Engage and support peer mentors where required. Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion throughout service delivery. About You We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping people transform their lives and who can build positive, professional relationships with a wide range of individuals. You will have: Essential Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and barriers to progression. Experience working towards targets, outcomes and KPIs. Strong case management and organisational skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Strong administration and record-keeping skills with good attention to detail. ICT proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications. Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent experience). Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload. Understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries and risk management. Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Desirable Experience working within criminal justice, probation, custodial or offender rehabilitation settings. Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) qualification. Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent). Knowledge of restorative justice approaches. What You'll Need to Succeed A resilient and positive approach.
