Quantity Surveyor – M&E / Building Services
Summary
We’re recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to deliver commercial management on a major long-term construction project in Ardrossan. This role is ideal for professionals with strong NEC4 (option C) expertise and a background in M&E or building services. Location and Working Pattern
Ardrossan | Permanent | Site-based for approximately three days a week with flexibility for the remainder of the week.

Responsibilities
Manage subcontractor accounts and overall commercial performance
Deliver accurate cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting
Oversee valuations, applications, and payment processes
Manage variations, change control, and final accounts
Handle procurement and subcontract management activities
Operate within an NEC4 Option C contract framework
Must-have Requirements
Proven Quantity Surveying experience within M&E, building services, utilities, or related sectors
Strong NEC4 / Option C experience
Ability to manage subcontractors effectively
Previous involvement on complex, large-scale projects
Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
Relevant qualifications are advantageous, but experience is key
Nice-to-have Skills
Background in M&E (preferred, though similar sectors considered)
