This Glasgow opportunity combines hydraulic modelling, hydrology, technical assurance and client responsibility across major UK and international schemes. The Opportunity A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for a Principal Flood Risk & Hydrology Consultant to join its established water team. You will provide technical leadership across flood risk, hydrology and hydraulic modelling while remaining closely involved in project delivery. Key Responsibilities * Lead flood risk, hydrology and hydraulic modelling work * Review complex hydraulic models and Flood Risk Assessments * Provide technical advice across infrastructure and development projects * Support climate adaptation and water environment assessments * Manage project delivery and client relationships * Work with multidisciplinary design and environmental teams * Mentor junior and mid-level consultants and modellers * Support proposals, work winning and development of the technical service Candidate Requirements * Strong consultancy experience in flood risk and hydrology * Chartered professional status or working towards Chartership * Advanced hydraulic modelling and technical review capability * Experience delivering complex Flood Risk Assessments and hydrological studies * Strong client-facing and project management skills * Experience mentoring and developing technical staff Why Apply?
