We are hiring a mechanical Final Assembly Technician to join our clients production team in Crawley. You will be responsible for building, testing, and preparing high-spec precision machinery for international shipment.
What You'll Do
- Assemble and test mechanical assemblies to technical drawings and exact tolerances.
- Conduct mechanical quality checks before sign-off.
- Carefully dismantle and pack approved units to ensure efficient reassembly by field engineers on-site overseas.
- Work safely and efficiently using standard hand, bench, and power tools.
- A strong practical mechanical aptitude and comfort using everyday workshop tools.
- The ability to read engineering drawings or follow detailed assembly instructions.
- High attention to detail—precision at this stage prevents delays for our engineers on site.
- A dependable, proactive work ethic and a willingness to learn (we provide full equipment training).
