Production Operative

Kenect Recruitment is recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a well-established packaging manufacturer.

You will initially be based at the Aldridge site, with operations moving to the Wednesbury site in the future.

This is a great opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment where full training will be provided.

The Role

As a Production Operative, you will be involved in the manufacturing of packaging products, working across different areas of production.

Your duties may include:

• Working with timber to manufacture wooden pallets
• Operating production machinery to manufacture cardboard packaging
• Using power tools and hand tools safely
• Measuring and cutting materials
• Reading basic drawings and specifications
• Operating gluing, stapling, and stenciling machines
• Carrying out quality checks
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Working efficiently to meet daily production targets

Previous experience within manufacturing, machine operating, or using power tools would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday
7:00am – 3:30pm
