Data Erasure Technician

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Data Erasure Technician to join an established IT asset management business based in East Kilbride, on a temporary to permanent basis.

What’s on offer?

• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 3:45pm
• Paid weekly at £12.71 per hour
• Hands-on experience with IT hardware and data security processes

As a Data Erasure Technician, your duties will include:

• Identifying key system components including HDDs, SSDs, RAM and CPUs
• Erasing data in line with customer requirements and company policy
• Using Windows-based systems to update client databases and records
• Meeting daily productivity targets while maintaining accuracy

To be considered as a Data Erasure Technician, you will need:

• A good working knowledge of computer hardware
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to work at pace in a busy environment
