Our client is a leading private client firm based in central Bristol, supporting a substantial UK client base that includes private clients and charities. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and recent graduates, giving you the opportunity to strengthen your legal knowledge while developing the communication, organisation and commercial awareness needed in a client-focused environment.

The Role

As a Graduate Legal Trust Administrator, you’ll put your law degree into practice through hands-on trust administration and client work. You’ll build knowledge across trusts, estates, tax and finance while learning how specialist legal services are delivered to private clients and charities. Structured training and ongoing support will help you develop your confidence, while the fully funded STEP Diploma gives you the opportunity to gain a recognised professional qualification alongside your role. Experience from retail, hospitality or internships can also provide valuable transferable skills.

• Manage trusts for a portfolio of private clients and charities
• Build professional relationships with clients and external contacts
• Support accurate and high-quality trust administration
• Develop practical knowledge of trusts, estates, tax and finance
• Apply legal and commercial knowledge to day-to-day client work
• Work towards the fully funded STEP Diploma with dedicated study support

Requirements

We’re looking for law graduates who want to develop specialist legal knowledge and gain practical experience in trusts and estates.

Must-Have:

• 2:1 or above in Law
• BBC or above at A Level or equivalent
• Modules covering Trusts, Estates and Succession Law
• Paid work experience in any relevant setting
• Based in or able to work in Bristol
• Available to start ASAP

Nice-to-Have:

• A genuine interest in private client, trusts and estates or wealth management law
