Quality Assurance Manager

Antwerp, Belgium JAM Recruitment Ltd We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support a major industrial project in Belgium. This is a site-based freelance opportunity for a QA professional with strong experience in industrial, petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas or large-scale EPC projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage QA activities across the project. Develop and maintain project quality plans and procedures. Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards and applicable legislation. Coordinate QA activities between contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams and site management. Conduct quality audits and monitor contractor performance. Review quality documentation, ITPs, method statements and inspection records. Manage NCRs, corrective actions and preventative actions through to close-out. Support inspections, audits and quality reviews on site. Maintain accurate QA documentation and support project handover. Requirements Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager / QA Manager / Quality Manager on major industrial or EPC projects. Experience within petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas, energy or heavy industrial environments. Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, inspection procedures and quality management systems. Experience managing contractors and subcontractors on large-scale construction projects. Fluent English essential. VCA / VCA-VOL or equivalent recognised safety certification required. VSA certification where required for site access. Must have the appropriate documentation to work as a freelancer in Belgium, including an A1 certificate where applicable and valid right-to-work / registration documentation. Must be able to meet all relevant site safety and compliance requirements before mobilisation. What's on Offer Long-term freelance contract in Belgium. Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
