£21.20-£32.30 per hour 

£50.65 – £65.85 per shift Lodge allowance applicable for workers travelling over 1 hour

Shift work and overtime possibility 

Security clearance required – successful candidates must pass the necessary checks before starting

The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting Part 2 and Advanced Scaffolders for a 3-week temporary contract.
You will be responsible for the safe erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding, working as part of an experienced team. Advanced Scaffolders will also be expected to lead and supervise gangs where required.

Key Responsibilities
- Erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding safely and efficiently.
- Work in accordance with SG4, Work at Height Regulations, British Standards and NASC guidance.
- Select, inspect and safely use scaffold tubes, boards, fittings and equipment.
- Work with tube & fitting and specialist scaffold systems.
- Carry out scaffold inspections and ensure structures are safe and compliant.
- Read and work from scaffolding drawings where required.
- Advanced Scaffolders will lead gangs and carry out advanced structures including drop scaffolds, cantilever scaffolds, shoring, temporary roofs, staircases, ramps and aluminium towers.
- Maintain a high standard of health & safety at all times.

Requirements
Basic Scaffolders:
- Minimum 2 years scaffolding experience.
- NVQ Level 2 / CISRS Scaffolder Card.
- Part 1/Part 2 training and COTS.
- Health & Safety tested.

Advanced Scaffolders:
- Minimum 5 years scaffolding experience.
- NVQ Level 3 / CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Card.
- Proven experience leading a scaffolding gang.
- COTS and Health & Safety tested.
All candidates must have good practical skills, physical fitness, a good head for heights and the ability to work safely as part of a team.
