About the role
Court Administrator (AO) - Booking Validation (Temp)
Location: Birkenhead (on site), 6 Hamilton Street, CH41 5EN
* Pay: £12.86 per hour, increasing to £13.25 after 12 weeks
* 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
* Basic DBS required (Costs covered by the hiring process)
* Parking available on site

Our Client is hiring for a reputed client in Birkenhead County Court for an AO Temp Booking Validation role starting ASAP. This is an on-site position (5 days a week) where your day-to-day work directly supports smooth access to justice.
What you'll be doing:
* Carry out administrative tasks to prepare for, facilitate, and conclude hearings
* Support users and stakeholders through face-to-face contact, telephone (incoming/outbound), and written correspondence in a range of formats
* Use service scripts and knowledge articles to signpost the right support and provide clear, consistent information
* Follow complaints policies and procedures, responding promptly to help prevent escalation and updating records as required
* Process work using standard operating procedures to meet performance targets and maintain service standards
* Handle case files with accurate data entry and secure information management, complying with retention and data loss protocols
* Support jury service tasks including selection, deferral, reassignment, attendance tracking, and processing related expenses and court fees
* Assist with listing and scheduling, helping ensure urgent matters are managed and judicial time is used efficiently
* Support enforcement procedures, including financial assessments and fine collection, and produce basic statistical/financial reports
* Contribute to health and safety operations (e.g., facility checks, issue logging, and governance under team leader guidance)
