About the role
As a Night Care Worker, you'll support older people throughout the night, helping them feel safe, comfortable and cared for. From assisting with personal care to offering reassurance and responding to individual needs, you'll make a real difference when residents need support most.Whether you're experienced in care or considering a completely new career, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed. This is a night shift role, working 4 nights per week. What you will do Support residents with personal care and night-time needs Carry out regular checks to promote safety and wellbeing Respond to calls for assistance and provide reassurance Support residents with mobility and comfort during the night Work closely with colleagues to deliver person-centred care Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively at shift handovers Help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents About you You will be kind, dependable and committed to helping others. You'll understand the importance of treating every resident with dignity, respect and compassion. Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential. We're equally interested in people with the right values, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You will hold, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC. Why work with us?
