Senior Programme Manager
Are you a passionate engineering leader who enjoys turning complex challenges into real-world solutions?
We’re looking for a Senior Programme Manager with a strong Process Engineering background to lead major capital investment programmes that deliver lasting benefits for customers, communities, and the environment. In this role, you’ll shape the future of critical infrastructure, working with talented teams to transform ambitious ideas into high-performing operational assets.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading complex capital programmes and project portfolios.
- Providing technical leadership and assurance across process engineering activities.
- Managing programme risk, cost, schedule, governance, and performance.
- Ensuring successful commissioning, process proving, and operational handover.
- Building strong relationships with Operations, Engineering, Commercial, and Delivery partners.
- Driving innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Leading and developing high-performing project and engineering teams.
- Championing a strong culture of safety, wellbeing, and sustainability.
What we’re looking for
- Significant experience in Process Engineering within water, wastewater, utilities, infrastructure, or industrial process environments.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale capital projects or programmes.
- Strong understanding of process design, optimisation, commissioning, and operational performance.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial, risk management, and programme governance capability.
- Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, with chartership or working towards chartership desirable.
