Make a difference at Oldham E-ACT Academy North as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. Support pupils with complex needs, deliver targeted interventions, and play a key role in assessment, tracking, and statutory processes. Key responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of the class teacher to support pupils’ learning.
- Run structured intervention programmes for identified pupils.
- Assist in the implementation of EHCPs
- Provide personal care where required (toileting, feeding, hygiene).
- Deliver specialist interventions as trained (sensory circuits, SLCN programmes).
Pay range: SCP 6-12 - £20,078.01 - £22,093.61 - FTE: £25,989.00 - £28,598.00 - Permanent, starting September 2026,
Qualifications and Skills:
- GCSE Maths and English minimum grade C or equivalent
- TA3 qualification or relevant experience
- Knowledge and understanding of how children learn and how to motivate them
- Ability to work with an individual child or with a group
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders using a variety of methods
