About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead, plan, and implement the commissioning strategy for a major construction development. This senior role is essential for ensuring that all building systems and equipment function according to design specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. Develop and manage commissioning plans and programmes to meet project milestones
Oversee functional and performance testing of systems, ensuring compliance with specifications
Coordinate multiple stakeholders, including MEP teams, subcontractors, and consultants
Conduct inspections and validation of mechanical and electrical systems prior to handover
Identify and resolve technical issues swiftly to maintain progress
Prepare commissioning documentation and ensure regulatory requirements are met
Implement best practices in health, safety, and quality management during commissioning phases
Must-have Requirements
Strong track record as a Commissioning Manager or Specialist within construction, MEP, or building services
In-depth knowledge of commissioning processes for electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and commissioning schedules
Excellent leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and compliance requirements
