Foundation Year 2 Emergency Medicine Locum - Mater Infirmorum Hospital, Belfast
Grayscale Medical is seeking F2/ST/GP/CF-level doctors for locum shifts in the Emergency Department at the Mater Infirmorum Hospital (MIH), Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. Multiple day and night shifts are available throughout September 2026.

- Tue 1st September — 08:00–17:00
- Sun 6th September — 22:00–08:30 (Night)
- Sun 13th September — 22:00–08:30 (Night)
- Tue 15th September — 08:00–17:00
- Sat 26th September — 08:00–17:00
- Sun 27th September — 08:00–17:00
- Tue 29th September — 08:00–17:00 (x2 positions)
Role Details
You will be working in the Emergency Department at the Mater Infirmorum Hospital, managing acute presentations at F2/SHO level. Duties include initial assessment and management of undifferentiated patients, performing procedures, arranging investigations, and liaising with specialty teams. The MIH ED covers a broad range of emergency presentations across north Belfast within the Belfast HSC Trust. A mix of day shifts and overnight on-call duties are available.
Requirements
- F2, ST, GP trainee, or Clinical Fellow level
- Valid GMC registration with licence to practise
- Right to work in the UK
- Up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Minimum 2 professional references
