Foundation Year 2 Emergency Medicine Locum - Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast

Grayscale Medical is seeking F2/ST/GP/CF-level doctors for locum shifts in the Emergency Department at the Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH), Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. Multiple day shifts are available throughout September 2026.

Available Shifts (RVH ED)

• Tue 1st September — 08:00–17:00
• Sat 5th September — 08:00–17:00
• Sun 6th September — 08:00–17:00
• Tue 15th September — 08:00–17:00 (x2 positions)
• Mon 28th September — 08:00–17:00
• Tue 29th September — 08:00–17:00 (x3 positions)

Role Details

You will be working in the Emergency Department at the Royal Victoria Hospital, one of Northern Ireland's busiest EDs and a major trauma centre. Working at F2/SHO level, you will manage acute presentations, perform procedures, arrange investigations, and liaise with specialty teams. The RVH ED handles a high volume of both trauma and medical emergencies across the Belfast HSC Trust catchment area. All shifts are standard day pattern (08:00–17:00).

Requirements

• F2, ST, GP trainee, or Clinical Fellow level
• Valid GMC registration with licence to practise
• Right to work in the UK
• Up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Minimum 2 professional references
