• £14.42 per hour
• 40 hours per week
• Working any 5 days from 7
• 06:00 AM starts
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available

The Role

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver / Class 2 Driver in Lincoln, you’ll be responsible for completing customer deliveries safely, efficiently and on time. You’ll also represent the business while delivering a high standard of customer service throughout your route.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating a 7.5T or Class 2 vehicle to deliver goods to customers’ homes.
• Planning and following efficient delivery routes to ensure deliveries are completed on schedule.
• Loading and unloading goods safely.
• Carrying out light assembly work where required, with full training provided.
• Communicating professionally and courteously with customers.
• Completing all required delivery paperwork accurately.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects promptly.
• Following road traffic laws, Driver Hours Regulations and company health and safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

• A valid 7.5T (C1) or Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence, held for at least 12 months due to insurance requirements.
• A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, Delivery Driver or in a similar driving role is preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A reliable and flexible approach to work.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves lifting, loading and unloading goods.
• Appropriate PPE, which must be worn when required.
