A supportive primary school in Leamington seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a part‑time role, with the possibility of moving into full‑time. You bring strong classroom experience and confident SEND knowledge, supporting pupils with varied needs through calm routines and clear communication. Moreover, you work closely with teachers to deliver consistent provision that helps learners feel safe, focused and ready to progress.

 

Key Responsibilities of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide SEND support for pupils with additional needs
  • Deliver small‑group activities that reinforce key skills
  • Offer 1:1 support when required
  • Use clear routines to support regulation and independence
  • Prepare adapted learning tasks for pupils needing extra help
  • Support positive behaviour approaches through calm communication
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to maintain consistent provision

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Level 2 accepted)
  • Strong SEND experience, including ASD, ADHD or communication needs
  • Confident classroom experience across primary year groups
  • Clear communication and a patient, nurturing approach
  • Part‑time availability with potential to increase to full‑time
  • Interest in Leamington‑based roles
