We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead delivery across major civil engineering works in Newcastle. This role is perfect for someone with a proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure or heavy civils projects, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and schedule objectives. Lead and manage all phases of civil engineering project delivery, from planning through to completion
Oversee programme performance to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery
Develop and implement project strategies to mitigate risks and optimise outcomes
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation on-site
Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to secure best results
Manage budgets, costs, and resources effectively across the project lifecycle
Provide clear leadership to multi-disciplinary teams in a demanding environment
Must-have Requirements
Extensive experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within civil engineering (infrastructure, highways, drainage, groundworks)
Proven success delivering complex high-value projects on time and within budget
Strong leadership and commercial awareness skills
Comprehensive knowledge of compliance standards and major civils methodologies
Proficiency in tools and software for project and cost management
