Job Title Site Completion Engineer SummaryWe’re seeking an experienced Site Completion Engineer to join a major Energy-from-Waste (EfW) project in Tilbury, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong commissioning and site management expertise to ensure smooth completion and handover of a large thermal power facility. If you’re looking to make a real impact on a landmark project, this role offers the chance to deliver critical outcomes on site. Location and Working Pattern Thameside ERF, Tilbury, RM18 7SG, Essex, United Kingdom. This is a full-time, site-based role reporting to the Site Construction Manager. Client Overview Our client is a leading engineering and construction specialist operating on complex energy projects across the UK and Europe. ResponsibilitiesParticipate in final construction inspections (FIS) with the site team.Coordinate design modifications with the Project Engineering Manager.Prepare and report on Turnover Packages (TOP).Oversee piping support and ATEX inspections, liaising with engineers, suppliers, and third-party certifiers.Ensure accurate as-built P&IDs are collected and transferred to the Project Engineering Manager.Drive compliance with project HSEQ requirements across all activities.Must-have RequirementsMinimum 5 years’ professional experience, ideally as a commissioning lead engineer on large industrial plant projects.Proven BOP/Boiler commissioning experience on KVI or Energy from Waste plants with process knowledge of thermal plants (EfW, Biomass, Coal).Strong understanding of P&ID, isometric drawings, and industrial process systems.Proactive approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.The NRL Group connect global companies with the right people to bring engineering projects to life.
