£28k-£30k + comm (£34.5k to £36.5k OTE)

8am-5pm Monday to Friday

25 days holiday, free parking, food daily.

We are recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to join our client’s busy sales team. This is a customer-focused role responsible for managing and developing existing customer accounts, generating new sales opportunities and providing a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

· Achieving set monthly KPIs and sales targets
· Managing and developing existing customer accounts
· Building strong relationships with customers and increasing customer retention
· Managing quotations and following up opportunities to convert sales
· Generating new opportunities through proactive customer contact
· Upselling and promoting new products and services
· Responding promptly and professionally to incoming calls and emails
· Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently
· Managing bespoke products and stock-holding requirements
· Providing customers with delivery and ETA updates
· Managing the sales inbox and ensuring enquiries are dealt with promptly
· Processing and following up new enquiries
· Completing and actioning daily reports
· Providing stock quotations and pricing information
· Supporting the External Sales team
· Maintaining accurate customer records and reports
· Ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all tasks

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an internal sales, account management or customer service environment. You will be confident communicating with customers, commercially aware and proactive in identifying sales opportunities. A positive, customer-focused approach and strong attention to detail are essential.
