DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer - Central Government - SC Clearance - 6 months

I am looking for a number of DevOps Engineers for a central Government client in London.

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll work across the cloud stack to support application delivery and platform stability. The role exists to give dedicated focus to CI/CD, container orchestration and core cloud services so development teams can ship changes smoothly and consistently. You'll work with a range of current tooling, with scope to contribute to how the platform evolves.

What you'll focus on

• Building, maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines.
• Managing and optimising container orchestration and workloads.
• Supporting core cloud services, storage and data platforms.
• Enhancing security and access through identity and access tools.

Key responsibilities

• Designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Managing containerised services using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Working with cloud storage and related services including S3 and ACP/Core Cloud components.
• Administering and supporting data platforms such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Configuring and maintaining identity and access solutions including Keycloak and Entra.
• Supporting data migration activities where required.

What we're looking for

• Experience working in a DevOps or platform engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.
• Practical experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions.
• Experience with cloud storage and services such as S3 and related cloud components.
• Knowledge of MongoDB and PostgreSQL administration or operational support.
• Experience with Identity and Access tools such as Keycloak and/or Entra.
• Exposure to or interest in data migration work.
