Engineering Support Manager – Scotland – Competitive Salary

Are you an experienced engineer with a strong electrical background and CAPEX project experience? This could be an excellent opportunity to join an established Engineering team within a modern manufacturing environment.

Our client is looking for an Engineering Support Manager to bridge the gap between Project Delivery and operational Engineering, ensuring new equipment and projects are fully commissioned, compliant and ready for handover.

Are you who we’re looking for?

• Degree-level Engineering qualification
• Strong electrical engineering background with some mechanical knowledge
• CAPEX/project engineering experience
• Experience with commissioning, installation or project handover
• Good understanding of controls, software and fault-finding
• Knowledge of engineering documentation and compliance
• CMMS experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential

Day-to-day, you’ll coordinate with Project Engineers, OEMs, contractors and Engineering teams to resolve outstanding issues, ensure documentation and compliance requirements are complete, and make sure projects are properly closed out.
