Consultant - General Medicine
Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Consultant in General Internal Medicine for multiple weekend day shifts at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Health and Social Care Trust. This locum assignment pays £100/hr assignment rate, covering 8 shifts across September 2026 (5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th September).
Shift pattern is 08:30-16:30 on Saturdays and Sundays. You will provide consultant-level medical cover within the Medicine and Unscheduled Care directorate, overseeing acute medical admissions, ward rounds, and clinical decision-making for the medical take during weekends.
The department at CAH manages a diverse case mix including acute medicine, respiratory medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, and geriatric medicine. Weekend consultant presence is essential for patient flow and senior clinical oversight.
Requirements: GMC registration with licence to practise at consultant level, experience in General Internal Medicine or Acute Medicine, right to work in the UK, DBS/AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, and 2 professional references.
