Shot Blaster – Structural Steel Location: Medway City Estate, Rochester Pay: £13.80–£14.00 per hour Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: Immediate We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shot Blaster to join a busy structural steel warehouse based on Medway City Estate, Rochester. Key Responsibilities: • Shot blasting structural steel to remove rust, scale, and surface contaminants. • Operating shot blasting equipment and a fire hose to clean steel components. • Preparing metal structures to a high-quality finish. • Working safely within a busy warehouse environment. • Maintaining excellent attention to detail and quality standards. • Carrying out manual handling duties as required. • Taking accurate measurements and using good numeracy skills. Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years' shot blasting experience. • Previous experience working with structural steel or metal. • Good attention to detail. • Strong numeracy skills for measurements. • Physically fit and able to undertake manual work. • Reliable with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Working Hours: • Monday to Friday • 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Choose the shift that best suits you.)
