Sous Chef – TP2557

Gastro pub/Country Inn is looking for a Sous Chef who is looking to join to join a small enthusiastic, friendly team who are looking to push forward for Rosette recognition. Fresh prepared food from local ingredient. Daily home baked breads, own churned butter, lots of fresh fish and pub classics.  A Sous Chef to help our Head Chef manage the team and run the kitchen in the Heads absence.  The property has it own herb garden , bees and uses the local hedgerows for foraging ingredients.

Requirements 

A Sous chef who has the drive and ability to push forward and achieve high level standards of food and participate in supervising junior staff or trainees as part of team management development is a must. Candidates must have knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant procedures with previous experience of leading and supervising a team. Strong communication skills and capability to collaborate with team members to coordinate food production and service activities is essential, alongside a friendly, happy demeanour and a love of great food.
