Junior Probate Solicitor - Salisbury | 1+ PQE | £50,000-£65,000 + Benefits | Hybrid

A leading private client and charity law firm in Salisbury is looking to appoint a Junior Probate Solicitor (1+ PQE) to join its specialist Probate team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to build their career within a highly regarded Private Client department, working alongside experienced probate specialists and handling a high-quality caseload.

You'll manage your own matters across probate and estate administration, supporting clients through the full process from initial instruction through to completion. The work will include a mixture of taxable and non-taxable estates, with exposure to more complex matters as your experience develops.

The Role

• Managing your own caseload of probate and estate administration matters
• Handling estates from initial instruction through to completion
• Preparing applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration
• Liaising with executors, beneficiaries, HMRC, financial institutions and other professionals
• Preparing estate accounts and dealing with inheritance tax matters
• Drafting Wills and LPAs where appropriate
• Providing clear, empathetic and professional advice to clients
• Working collaboratively with the wider Private Client and contentious trusts and probate teams
• Developing your technical expertise through exposure to increasingly complex estates

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 1+ PQE
• Experience in probate and/or estate administration
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Able to manage your own caseload effectively
• Commercially aware with a genuine interest in developing a career in Private Client
• A team player who enjoys working alongside experienced practitioners
