St Helens Borough Council is seeking a motivated Principal Regulatory Services Compliance Officer to lead and develop our Consumer Protection Team. This is a high-profile role within the Council’s Regulatory Services division, supporting the delivery of essential statutory functions that protect public health, local communities, and the environment.
As Principal Regulatory Services Compliance Officer, you will provide professional leadership across a wide range of consumer protection duties including food safety, infectious disease control, health & safety, street trading and health promotion. You will act as a principal technical specialist, supporting the Council in meeting its legislative responsibilities and driving forward continuous improvement in service delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic environmental health professional who is passionate about consumer protection and committed to achieving positive outcomes for residents, businesses, and the wider borough.
