The role involves delivering advice across various areas, including budget setting and monitoring, year-end processes and account closure and compliance with financial regulations.

Our Schools Finance Team collaborates closely with Lincolnshire schools, offering both strategic and operational financial guidance to key stakeholders such as School Business Managers and Headteachers. This support plays a vital role in enhancing educational outcomes by helping schools maintain sustainable and well-managed budgets. As part of the Finance Technician role you’ll provide expert advice and support through our professional helpdesk, offering assistance via both email and telephone.
Play a vital role in Financial Services by supporting Lincolnshire schools, promoting financial sustainability through effective financial planning and monitoring to Headteachers and School Business Managers, supporting informed decision-making through high-quality financial insight, advice, and guidance. Location
The team work on a hybrid basis, with, on average, two days of the week spent connecting in the office and three days of the week home based. This role would be expected to work within these arrangements.
