Senior Finance Business Partner | Gloucester | £70,000 - £85,000

Are you a qualified accountant who thrives in a commercial environment? This role is working closely to Sales and Business Development, where you will be providing them with strategic advice. This pivotal role acts as the primary commercial finance lead to the sales organisation and senior leadership, driving profitable, sustainable growth through robust deal modelling, pricing governance, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner directly with Sales and Business Development to deliver financial input, pricing guidance, and commercial modelling for high-value, complex bids and tenders
• Design, build, and maintain scalable deal models and cost-to-serve frameworks, incorporating milestone billing, rebates, discounts, and credits
• Lead the development of 3-year sales budgets, rolling forecasts, and target-setting models in close collaboration with FP&A and Portfolio teams
• Own customer-level profitability analysis to enhance lifetime value, support retention strategies, and optimise pricing frameworks
• Design, model, and govern annual sales commission plans to align sales behaviours with business targets, driving process control and automation
• Establish strong sales governance frameworks, serving as the senior commercial escalation and approval point for non-standard transactions
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth deal handover and accurate P&L tracking

Your Profile:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in commercial finance or commercial business partnering
• Advanced financial modelling capabilities with strong analytical, problem-solving, and contract-review skills
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, comfortable constructively challenging senior leaders
• Proven track record in complex deal structuring, bid pricing, and multi-year forecasting, (desirable).
