Erasure Technician

Connect Appointments is recruiting an Erasure Technician to join an established IT asset management business based in Redditch.

What’s on offer?

• Temporary to permanent opportunity – 42 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 07:45 to 17:00 – with an early Friday finish
• Paid weekly at £12.71 per hour

As an Erasure Technician, your duties will include:

• Identifying key system components including HDDs, SSDs, RAM and CPUs
• Erasing data in line with customer requirements and company policy
• Navigating Windows-based systems to access client databases, emails and related tasks
• Meeting hourly and daily productivity targets while maintaining accuracy
• Multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment

To be considered as an Erasure Technician, you will need:

• Strong technical knowledge and computer literacy
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working with numerical data
• The ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
