Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor | East Yorkshire | £50k - £55k + Package

We're currently working with an established construction and civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing business with a varied workload, taking commercial responsibility for projects from procurement through to final account.

What You'll Be Doing;

• Managing the commercial performance of projects
• Subcontractor procurement, management and payments
• Preparing valuations, variations and cost reports
• Managing project budgets, forecasts and cash flow
• Identifying and managing commercial risks
• Working closely with operational teams throughout project delivery
• Managing final accounts and project close-out

What You'll Need;

• Previous Quantity Surveyor experience within construction or civil engineering
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
• Experience managing subcontract packages and project costs
• Confident communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage projects with a good level of autonomy
• Relevant construction or Quantity Surveying qualification
