Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor | East Yorkshire | £60k - £70k + Package

We're currently working with an established regional contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for a new build affordable housing development in East Yorkshire.

This is a key role within the project team, managing the commercial performance of the scheme from procurement through to final account.

What You'll Be Doing;

• Managing the commercial performance of the development
• Subcontractor procurement, management and payments
• Preparing valuations, variations and cost reports
• Managing budgets, forecasts and cash flow
• Identifying and managing commercial risks
• Working closely with the site and project teams
• Managing client relationships and final accounts

What You'll Need;

• Senior Quantity Surveyor experience within construction
• Experience delivering new build housing developments
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
• Confident managing subcontract packages and project costs
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Relevant Quantity Surveying or construction qualification
