Synergy Personnel Services has been exclusively retained to recruit a Senior Associate or Partner to join a growing Construction offering within a Top 50 UK law firm’s Real Estate division.

This is a strategic appointment, offering high-quality work, strong client exposure, and a clear platform for progression within a modern, commercially driven firm.

The Opportunity

You will join a specialist Construction team advising developers, investors, and commercial clients on the full lifecycle of construction and development projects.

The wider Real Estate group is highly regarded for its ability to support complex schemes from initial viability and funding through to development and delivery, providing fully integrated, cross-disciplinary advice.

This role will focus on construction-related matters within that lifecycle, working closely with colleagues across development, planning, and real estate.

The Role

You will lead on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters, including:

• Drafting and negotiating building contracts, professional appointments, and collateral warranties
• Advising on development structures and project delivery
• Supporting real estate transactions with construction input
• Risk management and project structuring advice
• Working alongside developers, funders, and contractors on complex schemes
• Providing strategic input across large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments

There is also scope to handle contentious construction matters, depending on experience.

The Candidate

This role is suited to:

• A Senior Associate ready to step into a more senior, client-facing position, or
• An established Partner seeking a more agile, entrepreneurial platform

You will demonstrate:

• Strong experience in construction law (non-contentious essential; contentious beneficial)
• Exposure to development-led real estate work
• A commercial, solutions-focused mindset
• Confidence in managing client relationships and delivering strategic advice
• A following or clear business development capability (particularly at Partner level)
