Synergy Personnel Services is pleased to be working with a highly respected national legal practice in the search for an experienced Senior Associate / Partner to join its specialist Telecommunications Real Estate team in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded lawyer to join a growing specialist practice advising a diverse range of landowners, developers, investors, local authorities, estates, and commercial property clients on complex telecommunications property matters.

The successful candidate will work on a varied and high-quality caseload involving telecoms infrastructure, electronic communications code matters, strategic land advice, and contentious and non-contentious property issues relating to telecommunications apparatus and network operators.

The Role

The position will involve advising clients on a broad range of telecommunications real estate matters, including:

• Telecommunications lease renewals and agreements
• Electronic Communications Code matters
• Advising landowners on telecoms operator rights and site access issues
• Strategic advice relating to telecommunications apparatus on development sites
• Property acquisitions involving telecoms infrastructure
• Landlord and tenant matters connected to telecoms sites
• Negotiations with network operators
• Court proceedings and dispute resolution involving telecoms operators
• Asset management and portfolio advice relating to telecommunications sites

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with an established national client base across a fast-moving and highly specialised sector.

About You

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• Strong commercial real estate experience with exposure to telecommunications property work
• Senior Associate or existing Partner level experience
• Excellent understanding of landlord & tenant and property law principles
• Strong technical and commercial awareness
• Ability to manage and develop client relationships
• Business development capability and a proactive approach
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Experience advising landowners, developers, investors, or telecoms operators would be highly advantageous.
