We are recruiting on behalf of a well-known global retailer for a Department Manager in Erina, joining an established leadership team and a diverse store environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being amongst their team — coaching, developing, celebrating wins and stepping in when things get busy.
The opportunity Working alongside the Store Manager and fellow Department Manager, you’ll help lead a store team, including Visual Merchandisers and Sales Assistants
Your days will include:
  • Coaching and developing team members on the shop floor
  • Driving sales, conversion and customer loyalty
  • Monitoring KPIs and turning numbers into clear actions
  • Following up on performance and holding people accountable
  • Creating individual training and development plans
  • Supporting a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture
  • Identifying strengths within your team and helping people progress
  • Leading from the front during busy trade periods

You could currently be a:
Department Manager | Assistant Manager | Store Manager | Team Leader | Hospitality Manager | Duty Manager | Supervisor
Retail experience is welcomed, but we’re also interested in leaders from other fast-paced customer environments who can demonstrate strong transferable leadership skills.
You’ll ideally bring:
  • Experience leading and developing a team
  • Confidence working with KPIs and performance targets
  • Strong coaching and training capability
  • The ability to follow through and create accountability
  • A collaborative, inclusive leadership style
  • Adaptability and confidence working in a fast-moving environment
  • A genuine interest in developing both yourself and others
