Job Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Executry matters from instruction through to completion.
- Prepare and assist with Wills, including advising clients on updates and amendments.
- Handle Powers of Attorney work, ensuring documents are completed accurately and in line with client instructions.
- Provide clear, professional advice to clients and keep them informed throughout the process.
- Work independently while maintaining effective communication with the wider team.
- Ensure case files are maintained to a high standard, with appropriate documentation and attention to detail.
- Support the smooth running of the department by prioritising tasks effectively and meeting deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor or experienced Paralegal with a strong background in Executry.
- Solid knowledge of Wills and Powers of Attorney.
- Confidence managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when preparing legal documents.
- Excellent client communication skills, with the ability to explain legal matters clearly.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Professional approach, discretion and empathy when dealing with sensitive private client matters.
- Competence in using case management systems and Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook) to support day-to-day work.
