HGV Class 1 Drivers

HGV Class 1 Day & Night Drivers – Full Time Ongoing - consistent work past Christmas 

Location: Severn Beach, Bristol

Shift Pattern: 5 on / 3 off but can be flexible with shift patterns (Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday)

Full-Time | Ongoing Work

 Bonus Scheme:
Running from October 11th – January 3rd. £90 paid per week for each week worked — £50 paid within the week, with £40 banked and paid at the end of the scheme. This is dependent on absences, incidents and delivery performance.

Day Drivers Pay Rate: £18.74 – £21.89 per hour
Start Times: Between 05:00 – 09:00This is a physically demanding role, and drivers must be prepared to handle a variety of goods.

Duties include:

• Delivering products including white goods such as washing machines, tumble dryers, fridges and freezers (not palletised)
• Handling TVs, microwaves and other electrical appliances (some palletised)
• Heavy lifting and manual handling required
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and safely

Night Drivers Pay Rate: £19.79 – £21.89 per hour

Start Times: Between 17:00 – 21:00 or 21:00 – 00:00

No handballing - Role details:

• Curtain-sided trailers
• Palletised loads requiring secure strapping
• No handballing
• Consistent ongoing work

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 1 (C+E) experience - (Can accept with less experience if booked onto a day with our training academy) 
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Max 6 points (no DD, DR, IN or TT)
• Experience using curtain-sided trailers and securing palletised loads
• Strong knowledge of UK driving laws and compliance
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling where required
• Professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude
• Able to commit to a long-term ongoing role
