Finance Reporting AM/ M (6-month Contract, Up to 9k)

A leading global general insurer is seeking an experienced Finance Reporting Specialist to join its Singapore finance team on a 6-month contract. Following a recent SAP implementation, the team requires additional support across BAU financial reporting, regulatory deliverables, reconciliations and post-go-live stabilisation. This opportunity would suit a hands-on finance professional who can quickly understand existing processes, investigate reporting discrepancies and deliver accurately within tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities

Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial reporting activities
Assist with statutory and regulatory reporting submissions
Perform balance sheet, general ledger and financial reconciliations
Support SAP data clean-up, validation and post-go-live stabilisation
Investigate reporting discrepancies and data-quality issues
Prepare financial reports, schedules and supporting documentation
Work closely with Finance Operations and regional finance stakeholders
Support internal and external audit requirements
Strengthen reporting controls, processes and documentation
Provide additional support during peak reporting periods

Requirements

Relevant experience in financial, statutory or regulatory reporting
Insurance industry experience is required, with General Insurance experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with MAS reporting requirements would be advantageous
Experience using SAP or another major finance system
Strong reconciliation, analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Meticulous and able to deliver accurately under tight reporting timelines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment
Able to work independently and contribute with minimal supervision
Candidates who are immediately available or on short notice will be prioritised

Contract Details

Contract duration: 6 months
Location: Singapore
Salary: Up to SGD 9,000 per month
Potential extension or conversion may be considered depending on performance, business requirements and available headcount
