About the Role

Bluestones Medical is currently recruiting experienced A&E Nurses (RGNs) to work at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. We have a range of flexible agency shifts available, allowing you to work when it suits you while earning excellent rates of pay.

As an A&E Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing rapid assessment, treatment and ongoing care to patients presenting with a wide variety of urgent and emergency conditions. Working within a fast-paced Emergency Department, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, prioritise and deliver care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform patient triage and identify clinical priorities.
• Monitor, assess and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Assist with emergency procedures and trauma care.
• Support the stabilisation and transfer of critically ill patients where required.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to NMC standards, infection prevention policies and hospital procedures.

Essential Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC Pin.
• Minimum of 6 months’ recent UK A&E/Emergency Department experience.
• Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to provide satisfactory employment references.
• Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete).
