Bluestones Medical is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our established team across the Wrexham Borough.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Support Workers who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support to adults and children. The Role

As a Support Worker, you will play an important role in supporting individuals to live as independently and confidently as possible. You will provide person-centred care, build trusting relationships, and ensure that every individual receives the dignity, respect and support they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to adults and children.
• Assist individuals with daily living activities while promoting independence and choice.
• Develop positive, professional relationships with service users and their families.
• Support individuals in maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and documentation.
• Promote a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.
• Follow individual care plans and organisational policies and procedures.
• Work effectively alongside colleagues, families and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond appropriately to the individual needs and preferences of those in your care.

Shift Patterns

We offer a range of flexible shifts to suit your availability:

• Day shifts: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
• Night shifts: 8:00 pm – 8:00 am
• Sleep-in shifts: Available with an additional £60 payment on top of your hourly rate

Essential

• Previous experience working in a support or care role with adults and/or children.
• A compassionate, patient and person-centred approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a wider care team.

Desirable

• An in-date DBS.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience supporting individuals with a range of care and support needs.

DBS and driving licence are advantageous but are not essential.
