About the role
Medical Administrator- Temporary – Flexible Hours – Prenton – up to £14.50 Per hour
We are looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Medical Administrator. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Medical practice.
The successful candidate will be confident working in a busy environment, have excellent attention to detail and understand the importance of confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information.
• Processing referrals, correspondence and medical documentation
• Coding
• Using EMIS
• Liaising with clinicians, patients and other healthcare professionals
• Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Updating electronic patient records and databases
• Supporting clinicians and the wider administrative team
• Carrying out general administrative duties to support the efficient running of the service
Job Essentials:
• Medical Administration experience
• Medical Coding
