An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established electronics manufacturing environment in Fife. This role offers the chance to work on complex, high-reliability products while supporting continuous improvement, manufacturing excellence, and new product introduction activities.

You will play a key role in improving production processes, supporting operational performance, and driving engineering solutions across the manufacturing lifecycle.

Working: Permanent, Full-Time (37 hours per week)

Key responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing operations to improve product performance and process efficiency.
  • Analyse manufacturing data and produce reports to support business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical support to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Investigate production issues and implement effective root cause and corrective actions.
  • Contribute to innovation and process improvement projects.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives.
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve engineering and manufacturing challenges.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators and manufacturing metrics.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of robust manufacturing processes and procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Electronics, or a related STEM discipline.
  • Experience within an electronics or manufacturing engineering environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting production and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Understanding of NPI, DFM, and process improvement principles would be advantageous.
