Delivery and Install Driver

Recruiting 3.5 and 7.5 tonne drivers for our client in Stanford Le Hope, Essex. Ongoing and full time work with no current end date. There is a temp to perm possibility with the client.

If you’re looking for a driving role that’s more than just drop and dash, you’re in the right place. As a Delivery & Install Driver, you’ll be out on the road delivering and installing large household appliances and tech: things like washing machines, fridge‑freezers and TVs. You’ll be the friendly face that customers see, helping them get set up and often making their day in the process.

Shifts and pay Rates for Delivery and Install Drivers:

• Completing around 25 deliveries per day – 8 to 10 involve installation in customers homes
• 5 shifts over 8 days 6:30am start – finish time varies – will include weekend work
• 3.5 tonne £13.36 per hour – 7.5 tonne £14.28 per hour

For this role you will need:

• A full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• CPC card (and ideally) Tachograph card
• To be comfortable working in a practical, physical role
• A passion for delivering great customer service

Daily duties of a Delivery and Install Driver will be:

• Deliver the right products to the right customers on time
• Install a range of household appliances and tech safely and professionally
• Work as part of a 2‑person team to move and position large items
• Use equipment such as tail lifts, sack barrows and lifting aids to work safely
• Drive a multi‑drop route and keep everything running smoothly
• Create a positive, friendly experience every time you step into a customer’s home

You’ll need to enjoy driving and being on the road, but you’ll need to love helping customers too. Our training will cover everything you need from installation skills to customer care so you’ll feel confident and supported from day one.
