Private Client Solicitor – NQ+ – Cardiff / Swansea

TSR Legal has recently been instructed to assist a well-regarded multi-office law firm as they look to strengthen their Private Client department with the appointment of an additional Solicitor in South Wales, with opportunities available across Cardiff and Swansea.

Our client has an excellent reputation across the region and advises individuals, families, business owners and high-net-worth clients on a broad range of private wealth and succession matters.

Following continued growth within the department, the firm is interested in speaking with Private Client Solicitors from newly qualified level upwards who are looking to join an established team offering a broad and varied caseload.

As a Private Client Solicitor within the department, you will advise clients on matters including wills, probate and estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, inheritance tax and estate planning. Depending upon your previous experience, there will also be opportunities to become involved in more complex estates and tax-planning work.

You will manage your own matters whilst working closely with other experienced lawyers across the department. Junior candidates will receive support in developing their technical knowledge and caseload, while more experienced solicitors will be given greater autonomy and the opportunity to develop their own client relationships.

The firm is looking for somebody who combines strong technical skills with the interpersonal ability required within Private Client work. You will be comfortable developing long-term relationships with clients and providing clear and practical advice during what can often be significant periods in their personal lives.
